Psyche
I find myself at the edge of lucus
Only to find a marvelous house, with
Golden columns and silver walls, and thus
A disembodied voice speaks, like a whiz
"Make yourself comfortable" it tells me
At dinner I find myself quite amused
Sing to the invisible lyre, and see
A feast that serves thy self! I was enthused!
But alas, this was soon put to a close
Fear consumes me as I'm led to a room
In darkness, a being's silhouette shows
He claims me as his wife, here in the gloom
Leave me at sunrise, forbid me thy face
I love when you bestow me with your grace
